Lesley Gulliver /
Lesley has worked in the design industry for close to twenty years. She has led teams in the delivery of integrated communications projects for clients such as Motorola, Sema and NTL as well as some fantastic brands in the SME sector. She was a Board Director for a brand consultancy approaching £3million turnover with 30 staff, prior to moving up north to head up the client management division of ZOO Digital Group PLC. Since 2004 she has worked independently as a communications consultant and design manager.
In founding What Could Be, she is driven by the knowledge that the world of business and communication is changing fast, consumer expectations continue to rise and communication channels are being revolutionised. Designers are currently uniquely positioned with phenomenal opportunities if they want them. Design thinking can transform business strategy and operations and designers add a special level of insight, creativity, intuition and clarity.
Lesley has a first class honours degree from the UCE Business School and has Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma qualifications. She also studied at L'Université de Toulon et du Var and is a French speaker. She has a keen interest in Carl Rogers' theories on person-centred psychotherapy - particularly its application to organisational culture. She studied for two years at Temenos Education, one of the UK's leading centres for person-centred learning.
Lesley is one of a small number of Design Associates for The Design Council – the national strategic body for design.
